Lois Lane



The casting for Lois Lane in Zack Snyder's 'Superman: Man of Steel' is currently underway. Digital Spy reports that 'Twilight' star, Kristen Stewart and 'Glee' star, Dianna Agron are in contention for the role.


A supply advised Digital Spy, however, that it is unlikely that Stewart would accept the position as she has "too many different juicy offers."


What's Taking part in is reporting that additionally in contention for the position are Jessica Biel, (The A-Staff) Rachel McAdams, (Sherlock Holmes) and Malin Akerman, who performed Silk Specter II in Snyder's last super hero movie, 'Watchmen.'


Anne Hathaway was reportedly being scouted for the position, but has been removed from the shortlist of actresses as she's taking part in Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan's 'The Darkish Knight Rises.'


There's no phrase on when the casting of Lois Lane can be complete. With the newly announced Henry Cavill within the lead, 'Superman: Man of Steel' is scheduled to hit theatres in December, 2012.
